Hi all, please can we all try to get word out to all mentors and kids that entering the future astro pitch area to retrieve balls etc is unacceptable going forward until the pitch is finished.

Firstly, nobody should be doing it from a health and safety perspective as the site does have dangerous items and conditions, and secondly it exposes the club to potential additional costs for repairing any damage to the surface works etc. Money that we certainly don't have as a Club.

We are at a crucial stage of the works and the fine levelly works is quiet exacting in its requirement and cumbersome to do. People have been entering the area to collect balls that have gone over from training and match etc.

When entering, these parties are dislodging to fine grit leveling with their footprints etc. Repairing these could lead to additional costs to the club from the pitch contractor should they have to remedy this damage.

Obviously the balls that go over have to be collected and these can be retrieved from the contractor onsite during the working week from 8am in the morning until 5pm each evening, or they will be left inside the club house or Siopa. All balls should be clearly marked.

We don't want close the grounds fully until work is complete so your cooperation is appreciated.

Please can all assist here in getting the word out to Parents, Neighbours and Kids.

Thanks

The Club Development Committee
